Peterborough Kia Under New Ownership

Paul Seminara with car

This year got off to an exciting start for Paul Seminara when he achieved one of his lifetime goals; he worked in the car business for over 20 years before finally realizing his dream of owning his own dealership. In January of 2018, Paul took over the Kia premises in Peterborough.

Paul began his automotive career as a salesperson with Chrysler before being promoted to leasing manager, then to new and pre-owned sales manager, and eventually becoming general manager. Impressed by the newly redesigned Kia Forte, Paul made the decision to move from Chrysler to Kia about 8 years ago.

Paul has been happily married to his wife Cheryl for 23 years and they have 3 children – Frank, Nick, and Samantha. Paul is grateful for his family’s support without which his dream may not have been possible. In addition to his passion for cars Paul also enjoys golfing, boating and live music.

Previous owners Brian and Lynn Hill left Paul with “a great client base and fantastic employees” – one of the major deciding factors for him in undertaking such a big step of purchasing the dealership.

Day to day operations at Peterborough Kia will remain the same, although Paul says he will be looking to expand the lot size of the dealership and undertake some re-imaging of the exterior and interior.
