The Kawartha Chamber of Commerce & Tourism’s B.O.S.S. (Business Owners Sharing Solutions) series continues on Wednesday, May 9th at the Lakefield Legion. The upcoming session will feature a panel of professionals discussing Mental Health in the Workplace.

The panel will discuss coping strategies, and techniques to encourage mental health in your workplace.

Panelists include:

• Jack Veitch, Health Promotion & Education, Canadian Mental Health Association – Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge

• Ashley Challinor, Director of Policy & Author of Working Toward Mental Wellness – A Toolkit for Employers, Ontario Chamber ofCommerce

Join us for this important discussion with fellow business professionals. Learn how to promote positive mental health with your staff, and within your workplace. Discover the resources that are available for businesses, and have your questions asked by the panel of professionals.

The BOSS session is taking place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 77, 10 Nicholls Street in Lakefield from 7:30-9:30 AM.Doors open for registration at 7 AM. The cost is $15 for Kawartha Chamber Members, and $25 for Future Members. Breakfast is included. You don’t have to be a business owner to attend – all are welcome!
